PHILLIPS – Vaughn Breit scored 24 points and pulled down 13 rebounds to lead the Stratford boys basketball team to a 63-49 victory over Phillips in a Marawood Conference crossover game Friday night at Phillips High School.
Breit made 11 of 18 shots from the field, including a pair of 3-pointers, for the Tigers (14-3, 10-3 Marawood Conference South Division).
Stratford shot 48 percent overall (24 of 50) and made six 3-pointers in the victory.
Stratford hosts Spencer in a nonconference game Monday night.
