RIB LAKE – Marawood Conference North Division-leading Rib Lake proved to be too much on the defensive end for the Auburndale girls basketball team as the Apaches dropped a 40-31 decision in a Mraawood crossover game on Friday at Rib Lake High School.
Hannah Bolder scored 12 points and Natalie Aue added 10 for the Apaches, who drop to 11-7 overall and 6-6 in the Marawood South.
Auburndae made just 15 of 39 shots from the field and missed all five 3-pointers in the loss.
Katie Cardey scored 14 points to lead Rib Lake (14-3, 10-2 Marawood North).
Auburndale hosts Edgar in a Marawood South game Tuesday.
