PHILLIPS – Blaire Lindner scored 15 of her team-high 17 points in the second half to help lead the Stratford girls basketball team to a 63-45 victory over Phillips in a Marawood Conference crossover game Friday night at Phillips High School.
Lindner made all seven of her free throw attempts and hit four baskets in the second half for the Tigers, who are now 11-7 overall and 10-3 in the Marawood South.
Chelsey Gliniecki and Kaylee Hollatz each chipped in 10 points for Stratford.
The Tigers ran out to a 33-20 lead by halftime and held on with the help of their free throw shooting. Stratford was 16 of 18 overall in the game.
Stratford plays at first-place Marathon on Tuesday.
