MENOMONIE – The Marshfield girls basketball team grabbed its second win a row with a 71-64 nonconference victory at Menomonie on Tuesday night.
Meg Bryan scored 20 points, and Hannah Meverden added 18 points and nine rebounds for the Tigers, who improve to 10-11 this season.
Bryan hit four 3-pointers and Meverden was a perfect 6-for-6 at the free throw line in the victory.
Marshfield led 29-23 at halftime and held off the Mustangs (12-9) in a high-scoring second half, 42-41.
Marshfield finished 18 of 22 at the free throw line.
The Tigers wrap up their regular-season schedule Thursday at home against Wausau West.
