Stratford girls basketball loses regular-season finale at Crandon

CRANDON – The Stratford girls basketball team lost its regular-season finale 42-37 to Crandon in nonconference action Thursday at Crandon High School.

The score was tied 18-18 at halftime before Crandon was able to pull out the victory in the second half.

Kaylee Hollatz had 10 points, and Taya Nett and Chelsey Gliniecki each scored eight points for the Tigers.

Stratford (13-9) will host Mauston (6-15) in a WIAA Division 3 regional quarterfinal at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
