STEVENS POINT – The Marshfield softball team swept a pair of games at the Stevens Point Tournament on Saturday.
The Tigers beat Chippewa Falls 4-3 and Kenosha Tremper 13-5 to improve to 9-2 this season.
Against Chippewa Falls, Emily Draeger hit a pair of home runs and drove in three runs for the Tigers.
Megan Donahue earned the victory, striking out six in a complete-game effort.
Kate Konrardy earned the win against Tremper and also hit a home run.
Draeger and Donahue added home runs, with Donahue driving in four runs for Marshfield.
Marshfield plays a nonconference game at Mosinee on Monday and will finally play at home Tuesday against Stevens Point.
