Auburndale baseball rallies to knock off Edgar

EDGAR – Auburndale rallied from a three-run deficit to knock off Edgar 7-4 in a Marawood Conference South Division baseball game Tuesday at Edgar High School.

Edgar led 4-1 after a four-run third inning before Auburndale tied the game with a three-run fourth. The Apaches added a run in the fifth and two more in the sixth to pull ahead.

Fletcher Raab earned the win, striking out six in five innings. Colton Wright got the save with two shutout innings of relief.

Cooper Weinfurter went 3-for-4, and Ryan Isaacson and Dylan Paun each had two RBIs for the Apaches (3-3, 2-3 Marawood South).

Auburndale hosts Edgar on Thursday.
