Marshfield baseball drops road game at D.C. Everest

WESTON – D.C. Everest scored nine times in its final two at-bats to beat Marshfield 10-4 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference baseball game Tuesday at D.C. Everest High School.

The game was tied 1-1 until Everest scored six times in the fifth inning. After Marshfield scored twice in the sixth, Everest added three runs in the bottom of the sixth to open up a seven-run lead.

Ryan Krueger went 2-for-2 and scored twice, and Preston Wagner and Mason Coffren each had two RBIs for Marshfield (2-9, 2-5 WVC).

The two teams will play again at Jack Hackman Field in Marshfield on Thursday.
