OWEN – Caden Schillinger and Hunter Luepke hit back-to-back home runs in a sixth-run top of the seventh inning to lift the Spencer baseball team to a come-from-behind 12-9 victory over Owen-Withee on Tuesday.
The Rockets trailed 9-0 after three innings before rallying. Spencer scored once in the fourth, twice in the fifth, and three times in the sixth before pulling ahead in the seventh.
Caden Schillinger pitched four innings of relief, giving up two runs, to grab the win. He also had four hits and four RBIs. Luepke pitched a scoreless seventh to earn the save.
Austin Bacon added two hits and two RBIs for the Rockets (6-4, 4-2 Cloverbelt East).
Spencer hosts Marshfield Columbus Catholic on Thursday and Gilman on Friday to wrap up its conference and regular-season schedule.
