STRATFORD – Stratford broke a three-game losing skid with a 2-1 win over Chequamegon in a nonconference softball game Friday at Hilgemann Field.
The Tigers beat Chequamegon (13-6) by one run for the second time in a week and finishes the regular season with an 11-9 record.
Kiana Weiler tossed a complete game, allowing just three hits, with 11 strikeouts.
Alexcis went 2-for-4, and Sydney Boeger and Anna Goldbach each had RBIs for Stratford.
Stratford will play a WIAA Division 3 regional semifinal at Neillsville on Wednesday.
