Auburndale and Stratford combined for three first-team selections to the 2018 All-Marawood Conference South Division Softball Team, as voted on by the six conference coaches.
Junior outfielder Mackenzie Raab of Auburndale and Stratford senior pitcher Kiana Weiler were unanimous first-team picks, while Stratford sophomore Paige Kolbeck was also named to the first team.
Raab hit a team-best .544 (31 of 57) with four doubles, two triples, a team-high 30 runs scored, 17 RBIs and 10 stolen bases this season for Auburndale, which finished 3-7 in the Marawood South and 7-11 overall.
Weiler pitched nearly every game this season for the Tigers, who finished 11-10 overall and 6-4 in the Marawood South.
Senior Hannah Bolder was Auburndale’s lone second-team pick after batting .288 (15 of 52) with three doubles, two triples, and 12 RBIs.
Junior Teryn Lau and sophomore Maggie Willfahrt of Auburndale, and senior Courtney Kaiser and junior Mariah Zawislan of Stratford were among the honorable mention selections.
Wisconsin Rapids Assumption sophomore Kendall Schill was named conference Player of the Year.
