WESTON – The Marshfield Junior Legion baseball team split a doubleheader at D.C. Everest on Monday night, winning 11-4 and losing 9-4.
Isaac Meverden earned the win in Game 1, striking out four and allowing two runs in four innings. Logan Homolka pitched the final three innings to earn the save.
Devyn Palmer, Ty Pankratz and Alejandro Anaya each had two RBIs in the victory.
In Game 2, Everest put up eight runs in the bottom of the third inning to pull away.
Parker Weik and Ky Swanson both had a double and an RBI for the Blue Devils, who are now 12-7.
