GREENWOOD – The Stratford volleyball team went 1-2 in an up-and-down performance at the Greenwood Quadrangular on Tuesday.
Hilary Belter had 21 kills and 20 digs, Amber Schneider had 16 kills and 27 assists, and Rachel Luding had a team-high 26 digs for the Tigers.
Stratford lost 2-0 to Stanley-Boyd, beat Thorp 2-1, then lost to Greenwood 2-0 in a competitive match.
Hannah Schmitt added nine kills and Schneider and Haley Austin tied for the team-high in service aces with four for Stratford.
The Tigers open Marawood Conference South Division play Thursday at Pittsville.
