MARSHFIELD – Eleven alumni runners joined members of the 2018 Marshfield High School cross country team to compete in the annual MHS Intersquad Race on Saturday at Weber Park.
The Tigers’ Kairi Kim won the girls race in 13:55, 12 seconds ahead of teammate Bailey Bauer on the two-mile course. Maddison Clemens was the top alumni finisher, taking 14th in 17:00.
Joseph McKee edged Joshua McKee to win the boys race in 10:26. Jordan Dzikowich, a 2018 Marshfield graduate, was the top alumni runner, finishing fourth in 10:51.
Marshfield will open its 2018 season Saturday, Sept. 1, at the Columbus Catholic Invitational at Wildwood Park. The Tigers will host the Marshfield Invitational on Sept. 4 at Frey Field in Spencer.
