MARSHFIELD – Kyle Tremelling and Sam Roherty each scored four goals as the Marshfield boys soccer team routed Antigo 10-0 in a nonconference game Monday at Griese Park.

Isaac Wellens and Evan Weister added goals for the Tigers, who are now 1-1 this season.

Marshfield outshot Antigo 30-2 overall, with goalkeeper Austin Mannigel saving both of the Red Robins’ shots for the Tigers.

“We have some issues with speed of play, intensity and correct positioning that needs to be worked on before the next two games,” Marshfield coach Steve McCann said.

Marshfield hosts Stevens Point in its Wisconsin Valley Conference opener on Thursday at 5 p.m. at Griese Park. The Tigers hit the road next week for games at Wisconsin Rapids on Tuesday and at Merrill on Sept. 6.
