Stratford volleyball sweeps Marshfield in nonconference match

MARSHFIELD – Stratford, the No. 1 ranked team in this week’s Wisconsin Volleyball Coaches Association Division 3 state poll, improved to 17-0 this season with a three-game sweep of Marshfield in a nonconference match Thursday night at Marshfield High School.

Stratford won 25-10, 25-18, 25-17.

Mazie Nagel had 14 kills and 10 digs, Brooke Petersen had eight kills and 23 assists, and Blaire Lindner added eight kills for Stratford.

Jadyn Dahlke also had 16 assists and Lauryn Nagel had five serve aces for Stratford.

Stratford will be competing at the Auburndale Invitational on Saturday, while Marshfield will be off until next Thursday, Sept. 13, when it plays at Wausau East in a Wisconsin Valley Conference match.
