MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield freshman football team won its second game in a row, edging Wausau East 18-16 on Thursday at Beell Stadium.
Zak Glamann scored on a 50-yard touchdown run, Sawyer Schindler added a 20-yard TD run, and Chase Hinson scored from 1 yard out for the Tigers (2-2).
Glamann, Derek Gust, Ryan Dolezal and Keagan Cliver were the Tigers’ leading tacklers. Glamann also forced a fumble, which was recovered by Ryken Kolbeck.
Marshfield’s next game is Sept. 27 at Antigo.
