ANTIGO – The Marshfield freshman football team forced four turnovers on its way to its third-straight win, a 38-20 victory over Antigo on Thursday at Schofield Stadium.
Zak Glamann, Matt Trulen, Keagen Cliver and Jaden Bundick recovered fumbles for the Tigers, who improve to 3-2 this season.
Sawyer Schindler had touchdown runs of 13 and 20 yards, and quarterback Chase Hinson had a 1-yard touchdown run and TD passes of 28 and 53 yards to Carson Kvernen for the Tigers.
Daniel Holt added an 85-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and Bundick kicked two extra points as well for Marshfield.
Glamann, Derek Gust and Trulen were the Tigers’ leading tacklers.
Marshfield’s next game is Oct. 4 at Stevens Point Ben Franklin.
