Marshfield freshman football team drops road game at Ben Franklin

STEVENS POINT – The Marshfield freshman football team had its three-game winning streak snapped, losing to Stevens Point Ben Franklin 28-14 on Thursday.

Zak Glamann had a 51-yard touchdown run and Chase Hinson hit Christian Chin for an 89-yard touchdown pass for the Tigers’ two scores.

Derek Gust, Keagen Cliver and Glamann led Marshfield in tackles, and Ryan Spaeth and Gavin Fravert recovered fumbles for Marshfield (3-3).

The Tigers will wrap up their season Oct. 11 at Goerke Field in Stevens Point against P.J. Jacobs.
