GILMAN – The Spencer volleyball team finished fifth at the Gilman Invitational on Saturday, splitting two of four matches.
Spencer lost to Lincoln 2-0 (25-11, 25-18) and Phillips 2-0 (25-14, 25-12), and beat Cornell 2-1 (23-25, 25-15, 15-11) and Elmwood 2-0 (25-17, 25-23).
Individual statistics for Spencer were not provided.
Spencer will finish its regular-season schedule with a Cloverbelt Conference crossover seventh-place match at home against Cadott on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
