WAUSAU – The Marshfield Middle School girls swim team finished seventh at the Horace Mann Invitational on Saturday.
The Tigers racked up 69.5 points behind a number of top-10 finishes. Stevens Point won the team title with 397 points.
Terra Risa, Brooke Begotka, Lauren Olszewski and Faith Risa teamed to take fifth in the 200-yard medley relay in 2:13.58 and seventh in the 200 freestyle relay in 2:01.61 for Marshfield.
Faith Risa finished third in the 100 individual medley in a time of 1:04.21 for the Tigers’ best finish.
Terra Risa was eighth in the 50 butterfly (32.91) and tied for eighth in the 100 IM in 1:15.42 for Marshfield’s other top-10 finishes.
Begotka took 13th in the 50 butterfly (35.63) and was 14th in the 100 IM (1:21.94), and Olszewski was 17th in the 100 freestyle (1:10.84) as well for the Tigers.
