MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield girls swim team finished its regular-season and home schedule with a 116-51 loss to Wisconsin Rapids on Parents’ Night and Senior Night at Marshfield High School on Thursday.
The Tigers earned a pair of victories in the dual meet. Alyssa Franks won the 200-yard freestyle in 2:10.39 and Tara Kracht won the 100 breaststroke in 1:18.03 for Marshfield, which finishes 1-5 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference dual meet season.
Franks took second in the 100 butterfly in 1:07.31, Hope Risa was second in both the 200 IM (2:30.77) and the 100 backstroke (1:12.26), and Kaitlin Alberts finished second in the 100 freestyle (1:03.05) and 100 breaststroke (1:20.66) for the Tigers.
Alberts, Kracht, Franks and Risa also finished second in the 200 medley relay in 2:05.46.
Marshfield is off until the Wisconsin Valley Conference Meet on Oct. 25 at Wisconsin Rapids.
