The Marshfield United States Tennis Association Women’s Tri-level Delta team competed at the state championship in Green Bay on Nov. 3-4.

The Marshfield team won the NCL (North Central League) division competing against two teams from Stevens Point and another from Wausau. The tri-level team consists of three doubles pairs of 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 level rankings.

The Marshfield team consists of nine women in the Marshfield area that played six matches this fall on Thursday evenings. The season was very competitive and came down to the last match to determine the winning team. The Marshfield team competed against three other teams from different regions at state.

Marshfield team members are Donna Hansen, Katrina Friedli, Michelle Newman, Renee Wesolowski, Sandy Stargardt, Betsy Wolf, Tanya Barth, Carolyn Yanke, and Jill Joyce.
