Columbus Catholic boys basketball remains unbeaten with blowout of Granton

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic boys basketball team had 10 players score in an 82-32 blowout of Granton in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division matchup Thursday night at Columbus Catholic High School.

The Dons raced out to a 56-12 lead by halftime and rolled to the victory to remain perfect this season at 6-0 overall and 3-0 in the Cloverbelt East. Granton is now 0-3 overall and 0-2 in conference play.

Noah Taylor and Jarred Mandel each scored 14 points, Eden Jacobson and Tom Nystrom both added 13, and Bryce Fuerlinger had 10 points for the Dons.

Noah McConkey scored a game-high 19 points for Granton.

Columbus is off until Dec. 14 when it plays at Owen-Withee.
