Marshfield boys hockey blasts Black River Falls

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield boys hockey team won for the fifth time in its last six games, blowing past Black River Falls 8-2 in a nonconference game Monday at the Marshfield Ice Arena.

Ryan Krueger and Nick Urban each scored twice for Marshfield, which is now 11-4 this season.

Max Heller, Sawyer Schindler, Nate Boson, and Isaac Wellens also added goals in the victory.

Isaiah Baierl assisted on three of the goals, as Marshfield scored short-handed twice.

Marshfield hosts Stevens Point in a Wisconsin Valley Conference battle Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Marshfield Ice Center.
