Spencer girls basketball holds off Granton

SPENCER – The Spencer girls basketball team used a balanced scoring attack to take down Granton 36-25 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game Tuesday night at Spencer High School.

Eight different Rockets scored in the victory as Spencer improves to 3-9 overall and 2-7 in the Cloverbelt East. Granton is now 1-10 and 0-9 in conference play.

Aryiah Schuh scored eight points, and Heavyn Kind and Elexa Post each had seven points for Spencer.

The Rockets play at Marshfield Columbus Catholic on Friday.
