Marshfield wrestling pins eight, routs Antigo

ANTIGO – Marshfield won eight matches by pin and won 11 of 14 overall as it dominated Antigo 58-13 in a nonconference wrestling match Tuesday night at Antigo High School.

Freshman Sirius Conrad had the quickest pin of the night for the Tigers, downing Seth Beaber in just 19 seconds at 106 pounds.

Sam Haessly (285 pounds), Caden Pearce (145) and Brendan Braund (160) also had pins in the first period for Marshfield.

Other pins for the Tigers came from Sam Mitchell (220 pounds), Shane Westerhausen (120), Gabe Pugh (126), and Bentley Schwanebeck-Ostermann (182).

Bradley Hendrickson (170) and Keagan Cliver (113) won by decision, and Tanner Kanable (138) won by major decision for Marshfield.

Marshfield is back in action Thursday with a Wisconsin Valley Conference dual meet at Wausau East.
