STEVENS POINT – The Marshfield gymnastics team suffered its first loss of the season, in tournament or dual meets, falling a tick short against Stevens Point, 133.675-133.45, in a Great Northern Conference dual on Thursday at Stevens Point Area Senior High.
Grace Holland won the all-around and two events outright, while tying for first in the other two events for Marshfield.
Holland won the uneven bars (9.3) and vault (9.2), and tied for first in the balance beam (8.65) and the floor exercise (9.15) to finish with an all-around score of 36.3.
Emma Haugen finished second in the vault (8.8), third in the uneven bars (8.45) and tied for third in the floor (8.9) for the Tigers.
Marshfield hosts Antigo in a GNC dual Tuesday.
