ANTIGO – The Marshfield Tigers volleyball team needed five games to get past Antigo in a nonconference match Monday, beating the Red Robins 25-22, 25-17, 20-25, 24-26, 15-11.
Tiffany Stargardt led the way for the Tigers with 22 kills, six service aces and 18 digs. Sarah Cherney added 17 kills and Darian Molter led Marshfield with 25 digs.
Sarah Wolff set the table for the Tigers’ offense with 41 assists.
Marshfield, which lost its Wisconsin Valley Conference opener to Wausau East last week, returns to WVC action Thursday at home against Stevens Point.
