Columbus volleyball swept by Greenwood

GREENWOOD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic volleyball team was swept by Greenwood on Tuesday in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division dual meet.

Greenwood won 25-16, 25-18, 25-15 to improve to 2-1 in the Cloverbelt East. Columbus falls to 3-2 overall and 1-2 in conference play.

Taylor Weister had 10 kills and Lindsey Brandt had 12 assists for the Dons, who host Owen-Withee on Thursday.

“We beat ourselves tonight,” Columbus coach Jennifer Brock said. “We were very capable of beating Greenwood. Greenwood just wanted it a little more than us.”
