Columbus Catholic boys basketball tops Owen-Withee, now 11-0 in Cloverbelt East

MARSHFIELD – Bryce Fuerlinger scored 22 points to help the Columbus Catholic boys basketball team to a 68-45 win over Owen-Withee on Friday night at Columbus Catholic High School.

The Dons improve to 15-1 overall and remain perfect at 11-0 in the Cloverbelt Conference East Division as they shoot for their fourth-straight conference title.

Noah Taylor added 16 points, Ethan Meece had 12, and Jaden Nienast chipped in 10 for Columbus Catholic.

Aaron Ovyn had 14 points to lead the Blackhawks (5-11, 4-8 Cloverbelt East).

Columbus Catholic will play a make-up game at Granton at noon on Saturday.
