SPENCER – Courtney Schulz had 13 kills and five service aces to lift the Spencer volleyball team to another dominating Cloverbelt Conference East Division victory Tuesday over Augusta.
The Rockets rolled, winning 25-10, 25-13, 25-16 to improve to 2-1 in the Cloverbelt East. Augusta falls to 1-2.
Kylie Esser had 10 assists and Kyleigh Hebert added eight for the Rockets, who also got six blocks from Marcie Hebert and nine digs from Dani Johnson.
“The height and power of our front row really controlled the tempo of the game,” Spencer coach Buff Heller said. “Courtney Schulz proved whey she is one of the top middle hitters in the area. As a team, our serves were consistent and aggressive.”
Spencer plays at Neillsville on Thursday.
