STRATFORD – The Stratford STAR Men’s Basketball League continued play with eight games in two divisions on Sunday, March 24.
Here’s a look at the results:
A Division
*Kafka Forestry defeated Colby 73-67. Marshall Lehman had 20 points for Kafka. Matthew Karl led Colby with 40 points.
*Nutz Deep II/Stoney Acres Brewery whipped Colby Chrysler 96-60. Branson Witucki had 30 points for Nutz/Stoney Acres. Lou Ashbeck topped Colby Chrysler with 23 points.
*Oil Exchange & Auto Repair crushed Wausau Tech 130-51. Jake Scheppler led scorers with 55 points and Kole Oppman had 25 for Oil Exchange. Hunter Schultz scored 22 points and Jack Bezlyk had 20 for Wausau Tech.
*Success Realty edged Quality Roofing 62-57. Cain Trunkel led Success with 23 points. Chris Murphy had 16 points for Quality.
B Division
*No Limit beat Lob City 57-49. Mike Pankratz had 17 points for No Limit. Justin Hagen led Lob City with 16 points.
*Resource Recovery knocked off LJ’s Sport Zone 92-65. Barry Messman had 26 points for Resource. Alex Lang scored 20 for LJ’s.
*Stratford Sign Company slipped past Sauter Rembs Funeral Home 73-68. Tyler Derfus had 20 points for Stratford Sign. Rob Strenn had 20 points for Sauter Rembs.
*Wis-Ky Basketball defeated STAR 70-59. Ethan Posteluk had 16 points for Wis-Ky. Ethan Seubert scored 19 points for STAR.
