WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Tiffany Stargardt had 27 kills, 41 digs and six blocks to lead the Marshfield volleyball team to a 2-1 record Saturday at the first Wisconsin Valley Conference tournament of the season at Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln High School.
The Tigers beat Wisconsin Rapids 25-20, 25-13, 25-15, and Wausau West 20-25, 25-23, 25-22, 25-19, before losing to D.C. Everst 25-22, 25-22, 17-25, 25-22.
Sarah Wolff set the table for the Marshfield offense, finishing with 76 assists. Kim Johnson added 24 kills and nine blocks, and Darian Molter had 34 digs for the Tigers.
Marshfield takes its 2-3 WVC record to Merrill on Thursday.
