MADISON – The 2019 WIAA State Softball Tournament concluded Saturday, June 8, with five championship games at Goodman Diamond on the University of Wisconsin campus.
Horicon (25-1) in Division 4 and Poynette (30-0) in Division 3 repeated as state champions.
Seymour (25-1), playing in its first-ever state tournament, won the Division 2 title.
Oshkosh North (31-0) in Division 1 won their first-ever state championships as well.
Belmont (26-1) won the Division 5 state title, the second in school history. Belmont won the Division 4 title in 2002.
