AUBURNDALE – The Auburndale volleyball team continued its dominance over the rest of the Marawood Conference, rolling to a 3-0 win over Wausau Newman Catholic on Thursday at Auburndale High School.
The Apaches improved to 5-0 in the Marawood South Division and knocked Newman to 3-2.
Auburndale won the match 25-7, 25-18, 25-9.
Kari Willfahrt led Auburndale with 10 kills and Haley Harman, Nicole Nikolay and Liz Breu each had seven kills.
Kayleigh Kundinger had 28 assists and Auburndale had eight service aces in the rout.
Defensively, Nikolay and Kimberly Masephol each had 13 digs and Kundinger had 11.
Auburndale hosts Amherst in a nonconference match Thursday and returns to Marawood South action Oct. 5 at Wisconsin Rapids Assumption.
