EDGAR – The Auburndale volleyball team improved to 2-1 in the Marawood Conference South Division with a 3-0 sweep of Edgar on Tuesday night at Edgar High School.
The Apaches won 25-22, 25-23, 25-17, to remain within a win of the top spot in the conference standings.
Madison Krings had four service aces and 14 digs, Katie Helminiak had a team-high nine kills, and Georgi Schmutzer had 24 assists and nine digs for Auburndale.
Auburndale is off until next Tuesday, Oct. 1, when it hosts Stratford.
