MEDFORD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic volleyball team finished 3-1 at the Medford Invitational on Saturday.

Columbus Catholic beat Cadott 25-17, 25-21; Ashland 19-25, 25-9, 15-10; and Wausau Newman Catholic 25-16, 24-26, 15-3; and suffered its only loss in the tournament to Tomahawk 23-25, 25-23, 15-13.

“There was great, competitive volleyball today,” Columbus Catholic coach Kat Egle said. “We played hard and learned a lot. We were missing Jessica Jakopin due to injury and had some teammates play new positions, which made us get stronger together as a team.”
