MERRILL – The Marshfield girls swim team had three event victories in a 96-74 loss to Merrill in a Wisconsin Valley Conference dual on Thursday at Merrill High School.
Faith Risa won the 200 individual medley in 2:20.46, Hope Risa took first in the 100 backstroke in 1:10.80, and the duo, along with Alyssa Franks and Skylar Onsager, won the 400 freestyle relay in 4:03.96 for Marshfield’s three event victories.
Alyssa Franks was second in the 200 freestyle (2:09.75) and the 500 freestyle (5:36.73), Courtney Donahue was second in the 100 butterfly (1:03.49), Skylar Onsager took second in the 100 freestyle (59.14), and Faith Risa was second in the 100 breastroke (1:14.26) as well for the Tigers.
Marshfield also placed second in the 200 medley and 200 freestyle relays.
Marshfield is off until Oct. 10 when it hosts Wausau West in its final home meet of the season.
