LODI – The Marshfield volleyball team competed at the Lodi Invitational on Saturday, finishing with a 2-3 record.
The Tigers lost to Cuba City 33-31, 25-14, McFarland 25-19, 25-13, and Markesan 25-22, 11-25, 15-10, and defeated Green Bay Southwest 25-12, 25-18, and Lodi 25-18, 25-20.
Lindsey Steffen and Brooklyn Boushack each had 27 kills, and Alani Carter added 25 kills to lead the Marshfield offense. Setters Bailey Matis and Taylor Barwick had 40 and 39 assists, respectively.
Kati Sadowska had 36 digs, Kaydee Johnson had 34 digs, and Elise Uphoff had five service aces as well for the Tigers.
Marshfield plays a nonconference match at Antigo on Tuesday and will return to Wisconsin Valley Conference action Thursday at D.C. Everest.
