Kellen Delaney nets six goals as Columbus Catholic soccer shuts out Wisconsin Valley Lutheran

MARSHFIELD – Marshfield Columbus Catholic dominated play, outshooting Wisconsin Valley Lutheran by more than 40 and cruising to a 6-0 win in Central Wisconsin Conference boys soccer game Monday at Griese Park.

Columbus held a 45-4 shot advantage, including 24-2 on goal, and Dons junior Kellen Delaney scored all six goals, three in each half, in the win.

Tom Nystrom had two assists, and Zach Olson, Dylan Porter, and Afton Delaney also had assists in Columbus Catholic.

The Dons are now 11-1-3 overall and 9-0-1 in the Central Wisconsin Conference.

Porter had two saves in goal, playing the final 30 minutes, for Columbus.

Columbus Catholic plays at Stevens Point Pacelli at Griese Park on Thursday.
