Marshfield volleyball holds off Antigo

ANTIGO – The Marshfield volleyball team had another five-set marathon and this time came out on top, outlasting Antigo 3-2 on Tuesday night in a nonconference contest.

Marshfield won 20-25, 25-17, 25-22, 23-25, 15-8.

Brooklyn Boushack had 19 kills, Lindsey Steffen added 16 kills and 25 digs, and Alaina Carter had 11 kills in the win for the Tigers.

Setters Bailey Matis had 27 assists and Taylor Barwick had 23 assists, and the defense was led by Kaydee Johnson and Kati Sadowska, which had 27 and 26 digs, respectively.

Marshfield returns to Wisconsin Valley Conference action Thursday with a match at D.C. Everest.
