Spencer volleyball drops Cloverbelt crossover match to Stanley-Boyd

STANLEY – The Spencer volleyball team finished its regular-season schedule with a 3-1 loss to Stanley-Boyd in the seventh-place match of the Cloverbelt Conference East-West Crossovers on Tuesday at Stanley-Boyd High School.

Stanley-Boyd won 26-24, 25-15, 24-26, 25-16.

Heavyn Kind had six kills and 10 digs, Madison Knecht also had six kills, and Zalexis Mannigel had 17 assists and 10 digs for Spencer.

Spencer will open play in the WIAA playoffs on Tuesday, Oct. 22. Matchups will be announced on Wednesday.
