WESTON – The Marshfield freshman football team wrapped up a perfect 8-0 season with a 39-14 victory over D.C. Everest on Tuesday at Stiehm Stadium.
Garrett Willuweit had touchdowns runs of 3, 15 and 75 yards, Trevor Formmel ran in for a 16-yard touchdown, Eli Colby had a 3-yard TD run, and Jeff Marsh had a 5-yard scoring run for the Tigers.
Noah Peterson added three extra point kicks, and Cliff Hansen and Adrian Krueger recovered fumbles for the Tigers’ defense.
Marshfield’s leading tacklers were Isaac Dagit, Sam Meverden and Hansen.
