Spencer boys basketball tops Abbotsford to improve to 3-0

SPENCER – The Spencer boys basketball team ran its record to 3-0 to start the 2019-20 season with a 61-52 win over Abbotsford in nonconference action Tuesday night at Spencer High School.

Austin Bacon made 6 of 7 free throw sand scored a team-high 19 points for the Rockets. Brett Kasch made three 3-pointers and added 15 points, and Cody Vircks had 10 rebounds in the win for Spencer.

Black Draper scored 12 points, and Dalton Feddick and Cade Faber each had 11 points for Abbotsford (0-4).

Spencer returns to Cloverbelt Conference East Division action at Owen-Withee on Thursday.
