Columbus Catholic girls basketball holds off Owen-Withee for third-straight win

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic girls basketball team won its third game in a row, knocking off Owen-Withee 46-34 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division contest on Friday night at Columbus Catholic High School.

Columbus Catholic (4-3, 3-1 Cloverbelt Conference East Division) pulled out to a 25-17 lead by halftime and held control from there.

Addison Baierl had 15 points and Meghan Kibbel scored 10 for the Dons.

Hailey Geldernick had 19 of Owen-Withee’s 34 points.

Columbus Catholic will play at the Diocesan Showcase on Saturday at Viterbo University in La Crosse.
