Auburndale girls basketball blasts Port Edwards

AUBURNDALE – Kaitlyn Kundinger scored 10 points to lead a balanced scoring attack as the Auburndale girls basketball team cruised past Port Edwards 61-35 in a nonconference game Tuesday night at Auburndale High School.

Twelve different Auburndale players scored in the victory as the Apaches improve to 5-2.

Auburndale jumped out to a 39-16 lead by halftime and held on from there.

Natalie Aue and Hailey Grimm each added eight points for Auburndale.

The Apaches will play a Marawood Conference crossover game at Phillips on Friday.
