Kasch has triple-double, leads Spencer boys basketball to rout of Gilman

GILMAN – Brett Kasch had a rare triple-double and Spencer won its fifth-straight game to start the season, dominating Gilman 77-38 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division boys basketball game Tuesday night at Gilman High School.

Kasch had 14 points, 10 rebounds and 10 steals to lead the way for the Rockets, who are now 5-0 overall and 4-0 in the Cloverbelt East.

Austin Bacon scored a game-high 25 points, hitting that mark for the third time this season, and Tyson McDonald added 10 points for Spencer.

Cody Vircks added six points and 12 rebounds in the win.

Spencer plays at Greenwood on Thursday.
