Spencer girls basketball drops home game to Loyal

SPENCER – Remi Geiger made four 3-pointers and scored 20 points to help the Loyal girls basketball team defeat Spencer 52-29 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division matchup Thursday night at Spencer High School.

With the victory, Loyal (6-1, 4-1 Cloverbelt East) pulls into a three-way tie for first place in the conference standings along with Neillsville and Marshfield Columbus Catholic.

Heavyn Kind had 19 points for Spencer (4-5, 2-4 Cloverbelt East).

Spencer is off until Jan. 3 when it hosts Neillsville.
