STRATFORD – Teddy Redman scored 14 points, leading five players in double figures, and the Stratford boys basketball team remained unbeaten with a 65-50 win over Athens in a Marawood Conference North-South crossover Friday night at Stratford High School.
The Tigers (4-0 overall and Marawood South) led 30-28 at halftime before pulling away in the second half, outscoring Athens by 13 points.
Vaughn Breit returned to the lineup for the first time this season and had 11 points and six rebounds for the Tigers. Chandler Schmidt and Dawson Danen both added 11 points as well, and Ben Barten had 10 points and nine rebounds for Stratford.

Stratford will host a holiday tournament next weekend. The Tigers will play Altoona on Dec. 27 and either Northland Pines or Wausau East on Dec. 28.
